The House presents…Eileen Keane, Lumberjack and Nicole Rourke

Roddy Doyle with director Joe O,Byrne at The Five Lamps play launch

Eileen Keane

Eileen Keane is a singer/songwriter from North Connemara whose music reflects the dramatic landscape that surrounds her; majestic mountains and the blanket bog that sweeps down to the wild Atlantic.

Seven years ago she said her life changed dramatically when she sailed to Brazil with “the man of her dreams”. Four years later, she arrived back in Dublin with a shattered heart, a sea salted guitar and not much else. Her EP is the coloured glass and tiny shells that she brought back from her adventures. Hear her story in the intimate settings of Annesley House.

Veteran music critic and producer PJ Curtis described Eileen’s EP ‘Spaces’ as “a very fine piece of work”.

Galway Advertiser said “the 6 exquisite songs are quite something … they gleam with an affecting glow that delights the ear and moves the heart….essential listening”
