A day for children and young people

Next Saturday, on June 23rd, young Dubliners from 0 to 18 can see, make and do creative activities developed specially for them, in their communities and with their friends and families.

As part of the national Cruinniú na nÓg initiative, Dublin City Council’s creative and cultural teams have developed over 100 projects and events across the city’s suburbs, neighbourhoods and villages. You can see, make and do creative stuff in all kinds of spaces, from National Cultural Institutions to small pop-up theatres, from community centres to beaches and parks, and in all 21 Dublin City Libraries.

Led by all manner of creative professionals from the worlds of theatre, dance, music, opera, film, circus, photography, visual arts, literature and more, there will be everything from musical mash-ups in Ballyfermot to mosaic-making in the Liberties! You can find a full listing of all Dublin Cruinniú events (http://www.dublincitycouncilculturecompany.ie/cruinniu-na…/…) and can find out about events on social media by following the hashtag #CULTURENEARYOU.
