The Five Lamps Youth Theatre in association with the Five Lamps Arts Festival and Theatre performance Class in Marino College of FE are working with Púca puppets and Beyond The Bark Theatre to create a short film based on scenes from The Old Man and the Sea using the ancient art of shadow puppetry. Participants can choose to immerse themselves in a scene from the story, explore, make and perform with their puppets behind a lit screen and experiment with bringing the story to life. Using different materials infuse your shadows with colour and light.
